May Be filled at a Three Quarter Time [.75 FTE] or Part Time [.50 FTE] career service with benefits.
Preference may be given to candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish.
The Opportunity:
Under the direction of an Office Supervisor – WIC, provides basic assistance in health clinics. Collects and records height, weight, and hematocrit/hemoglobin. Collects and documents income, residency, and identity of clients to determine eligibility for services. Completes reports and performs support duties associated with record keeping for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program.
Grade / Starting Pay:
WIC Health Technician II – 718, $19.34 – $22.25 per hour
WIC Health Technician I – 716, $16.86 – $19.34 per hour
Schedule:
Clinics Open Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 8am-5pm. Wednesday 10am-7pm.
Clinics located in Provo, Payson, American Fork, and Saratoga Springs.
Days and clinic scheduled at will be arranged by Supervisor.
Job Qualifications – WIC Health Technician II
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Three (3) years clerical or medical support experience, including two (2) years of WIC experience.
3. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered.

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. One (1) year of clerical or medical support experience.
3. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered.
Preferred Candidates will possess some of the below attributes:
Preference may be given to applicants who possess certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid, or equivalent.
