Northrop Grumman is seeking a Security Coordinator 3 to support the Propulsion Systems business area at our Promontory (Corinne, Utah) facility. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing multi-disciplined Security support for a variety of classified programs and customers. This involves interaction with internal and external customers, and exposure to classified and sensitive unclassified information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, and discretion.

Primary Duties include but are not limited to:
Security duties and responsibilities within NG facilities to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements.
Conduct training sessions and administer clearance and special access briefings.
Maintain records and databases.
Coordinate and provide direction to contract security team for employee and guest badges, identification cards, and access control system cards.
Maintain lock and key records and perform combination changes for locks supporting classified programs.
Process visit authorizations for employees and guests to gain access to restricted areas.
Safeguard classified materials.
Oversee the daily operation of classified work areas.
Pick-up and drop-off classified mail.
Obtain fingerprints and process security clearance packages.
Support the management and execution of DoD security as it applies to the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM) and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs).
Provide direct assistance and support in areas of Program (FSO/CPSO), Personnel (PERSEC) and Physical Security.
Monitoring, maintaining, and verifying information in various security databases to ensure systems are up to date and procedural/regulatory requirements are met.
Answering telephones.
Scheduling meetings and conferences.
Setting up and maintaining various files.
Conducting training and other briefing.
Providing direct daily security support to classified programs.
Other security related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
Four years of experience in security, operations, or administration OR four years of additional education and/or experience.
Eligibility for security clearance (Must receive and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level as a condition of continued employment. Will ultimately be processed for a Top Secret security clearance)
Customer service oriented – dependable, responsive, and possess the qualities of diplomacy, discretion, and initiative.
Well organized, willing to work in a team environment, able to prioritize tasking, and perform in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information to various audiences and all levels of the organization both verbally and through written communications .
Make sound decisions, manage time, take independent action, and provide focused solutions.
Work with minimal direction and supervision to support the security program.

Preferred Qualifications:
Current active Top Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree completion or in-progress.

Salary Range: $41,000 USD – $68,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
