The Division of Adult Probation & Parole is looking for an Office Specialist II to serve as clerical support for the Adult Probation and Parole office in Ogden, UT. Adult Probation and Parole is a law enforcement agency that supervises and prepares investigation reports for people involved in and convicted of criminal behavior.Job DescriptionAs the Office Specialist II, you may monitor jail caseloads, track sentencing to open cases, and check in offenders. This position enters F-Track information, opens cases, assists probation and parole offenders with reporting information and questions, and coordinates information with the courts and jails. Data entry will be extensive and accuracy is essential.Principle DutiesYou will also perform a variety of clerical support services such as: Schedule and coordinate appointments.Maintain calendars.Provide authorized agencies with information.Run a variety of reports.Access and run reports in law enforcement- sensitive databases, including criminal background reports.Coordinate information and assist agents and supervisors in clerical aspects of their caseload supervision.Order DA packets and police reports.Prepare probation and parole documents.Generate probation and parole agreements.Verify conditions of probation and parole.Open, maintain, and update investigation files and other records.Data entry. The hourly rate for this position is $19.41 (non-negotiable).The current UDC employee’s hourly rate will be based on the promotional policy.Hiring officials may identify additional related skills and requirements as preferences in making hiring and promotional decision.
