Senior Mechanic Soldier Hollow Golf Course: Are you a skilled mechanic with a passion for keeping things running smoothly and ready to “tee off” your career? Soldier Hollow Golf Course is seeking a dedicated Golf Course Mechanic to ensure our equipment stays in top shape! In this role, you’ll take on essential responsibilities, including equipment maintenance, repair, operation, and management, while prioritizing safety, troubleshooting, and compliance. You’ll also have the chance to work on special projects, assist in emergency response, customer service, and even supervise seasonal staff in the superintendent’s absence. Principal Duties: Maintain and repair various types of golf course machinery, including mowers, tractors, aerators, and sprayers.Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in golf course equipment, ensuring timely repairs.Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all machinery to extend its lifespan and prevent breakdowns.Calibrate and adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal performance and efficiency during golf course operations.Implement safety protocols and ensure all equipment complies with industry standards and regulations.Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies, coordinating with vendors for timely procurement.Collaborate with the superintendent to plan and prioritize equipment maintenance schedules and special projects.Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of the golf course.
