Move forward in your career by becoming a Program Manager with the Salt Lake Valley Region of DCFS Office. The Salt Lake Valley Region of DCFS is looking to fill a Program Manager position for their TAL team in their Metro office.

This position will be filled as a 2 year career mobility.

Principal Duties
As a Program Manager you will:

Determining team goals and objectives.
Supervise a team of child welfare workers in order to achieve safety the well being, and permanency for children.
Participate on the region-wide administrative team.
Ideal Candidate
The model candidate for these positions is someone who:A social work related licensure such as a social service worker, certified social worker, clinical social worker, clinical mental health counselor, psychologist or marriage and family therapist.
Two or more years of child welfare casework knowledge/experience.

All DCFS job offers are contingent upon passing a Background Screening Application (BSA).

Preference may be given to applicants having two or more years of child welfare casework knowledge/experience.

Frequent travel required. May require you to use your personal vehicle to perform the duties of this position. All approved mileage driven by using a personal vehicle is reimbursable by State Finance. The reimbursement rate is determined by State Finance.

Physical Requirements: Sedentary -Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, books, small parts; driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

Working Conditions: Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
