The Utah Division of Child & Family Services (DCFS) American Fork office is seeking a highly motivated individual with professional work experience in an office setting to fill their Senior Assistant Caseworker, Office Support position. Pay starts at $16.19.

Principal Duties
A Senior Assistant Caseworker, Office Support is a clerical position and serves as a resource to the professional child welfare social work staff on a Child Protection Team by providing direct client services including: taking notes and minutes and distributing minutes from Staff meetings and Team meetings; answering phones; greeting visitors and clients; collecting and scanning GRAMA paperwork for processing, editing and redaction of protected information; handling communication with clients, attorneys, and regional committees to implement current laws and procedures.

They keep the office functioning smoothly and efficiently by also performing the following tasks:Preparing letters and/or documentation for courts and/or clients.
Performs receptionist duties.
Mailing certified mail to clients or sheriff; tracking in SAFE case system.
Creating, maintaining, scanning, and/or archiving files, reports, etc.
Retrieving files for workers, AGs, supervisors, and audits.
Assisting with 24-hour notifications and priors.
Maintaining the upkeep of office equipment.
Taking and transcribing minutes at meetings.
May assist with completing Medicaid applications.
Ideal Candidate
The model candidate for this position is someone who:Has professional work experience working in an office setting.
Is adept at dealing with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
Maintains strict confidentiality.
Is skilled with using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Pro to create and prepare documents.
Communicates effectively, clearly, and concisely verbally and in writing.
Has great public relation skills.
Gives attention to small details for accuracy of information provided.
PreferencesPreference may be given to applicants with previous and/or current experience working for the Utah Division of Child & Family Services (DCFS).
Adobe Pro experience.
