The hourly rate of pay goes up to $21.51 per hour upon successful completion of a one-year probation period!
Principal Job Duties
We are looking for hard working, ambitious people to perform the following tasks:
Receive extensive training to learn the interesting process to legally establish paternity and child support orders and/or enforce orders by collecting child support and enforcing other provisions within the order.
Verify and/or correct balances which may be owed, determine appropriate legal action including garnishment, lien, etc.
Prepare documentation in support of cases presented in court hearings.
Conduct research to gather evidence, analyze facts, and apply knowledge of the Office of Recovery Services rules, regulations and policies.
Qualifications
The model candidate for this position is someone who:
Is proficient in a technologically driven environment with intermediate to advanced computer skills.
Has an exceptional ability to multi-task and quickly make decisions.
Has strong customer service and communication skills with an ability to assist people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact and professionalism, without prejudice or bias.
Is able to effectively contact individuals or organizations to secure delinquent payments, and/or make payment arrangements for money owed.
Is able to interpret, clarify, explain, and apply agency policy and procedures, business practices, federal or state laws and regulations.
