The Utah State Hospital is seeking an experienced food service worker to join our leadership team as they unite and motivate a diverse team of employees in this unique food service department. We are seeking a fun, motivated leader who has a proven track record of working with others to get the job done, even through difficult transitions.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a few years of experience in the food service industry with demonstrated career growth history. We are looking for someone who will be a positive addition to the leadership team, willing and capable of the work required to prepare and serve over 1200 daily meals to our patients and staff.
At minimum, the Food Service Worker III will:

have a food handlers permit or servsafe certificate
have experience cooking in an institutional environment
have experience preparing and setting up for catered events
be able to routinely lift and carry 50 pounds
have a positive attitude and agreeable demeanor; be able to readily and cheerfully improvise to adapt to unforeseen changes and new requirements
