The Office of Recovery Services help ensure that parents are financially responsible for their children by providing child support services.

The hourly rate of pay goes up to $19.22 per hour upon successful completion of a one-year probation period!

Principal Job Duties
We are looking for hard working, ambitious people who will:

Receive extensive training to learn the interesting process to legally establish paternity and child support orders and/or enforce orders by collecting child support and enforcing other provisions within the order.
Verify and/or correct balances which may be owed, determine appropriate legal action including garnishment, lien, etc.
Prepare documentation in support of cases presented in court hearings.
Conduct research to gather evidence, analyze facts, and apply knowledge of the Office of Recovery Services rules, regulations and policies.

The model candidate for this position is someone who:Is proficient in a technologically driven environment with intermediate to advanced computer skills.
Has an exceptional ability to multi-task and quickly make decisions.
Has strong customer service and communication skills with an ability to assist people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact and professionalism, without prejudice or bias.
Will effectively contact individuals or organizations to secure delinquent payments, and/or make payment arrangements for money owed.
Is able to interpret, clarify, explain and apply agency policy and procedures, business practices, federal or state laws and regulations.

Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.

Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
