The Reentry and Rehabilitation Division is looking for an Office Specialist II to serve as support staff at the Central Utah Correctional Facility (CUCF) located in Gunnison, UT.The administrative office, which includes administrators and clerical staff, provides support for the day-to-day operations of the Reentry and Rehabilitation Division at CUCFJob DescriptionAs Office Specialist II, you will provide support to management and staff. You will ensure an adequate supply of materials and/or supplies are ordered, received, and inspected delivered merchandise. Data entry is essential. The employee will perform a variety of complex, independent decision-making skills with minimum direct supervision.Work Schedule This position is office-based, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Please note that this role is not eligible for remote workPosition OverviewThe Office Specialist II will provide crucial clerical support and assistance to the Volunteer and Religious Services team. The duties for this position include but are not limited toCoordinate and update Chapel SchedulesMaintain Chapel ClearancesScheduling interpretersManagement of Volunteer and Religious Services Documents and SpreadsheetsCoordinating Volunteer on-line trainingUpdating, uploading, tracking, and auditing the Volunteer databaseCreating and tracking badges for VolunteersRunning BCI on VolunteersCreating and submitting special guest clearancesOrganizing and preparing Volunteer donations for screening and entry to the facilityCoordinate inmate marriagesDevelop Security Plans for activitiesThe Ideal CandidateThe best-qualified individual for the Office Specialist II position is someone who: Has at least one year of experience working in a professional office environment.Has data entry experience.Is detailed oriented.Works independently with little or no supervision.Has Google experience with documents and spreadsheets.Has knowledge with O-Track/Webtrack. The hourly rate for this position is $ 19.41 (non-negotiable).Current UDC employees’ hourly rates will be based on the promotional policy.Hiring officials may identify additional related skills and requirements as preferences in making hiring and promotional decision.
