The Utah Department of Corrections ReEntry and Rehabilitaion Division that works with substance use and mental ill offenders is looking for Licensed Clinical Therapist’s (LCT) to provide treatment to offenders in our HOPE Program, located in Gunnison, Utah.Job Duties: The Utah Department of Corrections is dedicated to helping individuals with substance use disorders to achieve lasting recovery. You will be responsible for conducting clinical assessments, formulating treatment plans, and delivering specialized individual and group psychotherapy services. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Key Responsibilities will include the following duties: Clinical Assessment: Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients’ needs, strengths, and challenges related to substance use disorders. Treatment Planning: Utilize independent judgment and discretion to diagnose clients and develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with their recovery goals. Therapeutic Interventions: Administer and facilitate individual and group psychotherapy sessions, following established treatment protocols and therapeutic modalities. Client Progress: Document client progress, maintain accurate case histories, and prepare reports to track and communicate treatment outcomes effectively. ASAM’s: Administer the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) assessments as required and ensure appropriate treatment planning based on ASAM criteria. Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in distress, collaborating with the clinical team when necessary. Education and Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues, interdisciplinary teams, and community resources to enhance client care and advocate for their needs.Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards while working with sensitive client information.
