Do you excel at asset management? The Division of Technology Services (DTS) has a great opportunity for a motivated, highly organized Support Services Coordinator I to maintain inventory. If you are looking for a team environment with flexibility and support to add your own personal touch to your work, DTS is interested. This position will be a full time position, with benefits and the option to remote/telework! Experience is a plus but not required.

Other asset management duties will include creation and lifecycle management of capital assets purchased and owned by the Division of Technology Services. The candidate chosen with filling this position will also perform financial transactions for the department using the state financial general ledger software.

Ideal candidate should be able to:
Have an understanding of inventory management, capital asset management as well as general accounting. Preference may be given to those who have advanced knowledge of, and are able to use excel proficiently.

Example of Duties
Primary duties:

management of telecommunication inventory
tracking inventory
receiving inventory
record keeping/assigning cost accounting details
lifecycle management of this inventory
general procurements and supporting processes

Typical Qualifications

Intermediate Excel
Understanding of inventory management
Capital Asset Management
General Accounting

Supplemental Information

Employment contingent on passing a drug screening and a background check.
Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
