As a Roving/Traveling Retail Sales Clerk, you will:
Travel as a group to the state liquor stores throughout the state who are in need of additional help.
Use your customer service skills to assist the public.
Ensure that all sales are made only to customers 21 and over.
Perform cashiering duties.
Assist in receiving and storing merchandise.
Mark and display product for sale.
Assist in managing store operations in the absence of the manager or assistant manager.

The ideal candidate for the position is someone who:
Is 21 years of age or older.
Is able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Is able to provide excellent customer service.
Has open availability and is able to work Monday through Saturday.
Has the ability to travel with occasional overnight stays.
Has a valid driver’s license.
Is able to pass a criminal background check.

DABS stores are closed on Sundays and all state and federal holidays.

Eligible employees may accrue 4 hours of annual leave and 4 hours of sick leave each pay period. (Annual leave accrual rate increases with years of service).

Supplemental Information
 

Work requires physical exertion. May require the ability to stand; walk over rough surfaces; bend, crouch, stoop, stretch, reach, lift moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) in a recurring manner and/or for long periods of time.
Frequent travel to various liquor stores, with occasional overnight stays, is required.
Valid driver’s license is required.
