This posting is open to current employees of the Family Support group of the Utah National Guard only.
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity within Military Community and Family Support at the Utah National Guard? If so, we are seeking a Program Manager who is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to fill the position. Incumbent is responsible for managing, directing, coordinating, planning, and executing counseling services for servicemembers and their families, attending planning meetings, creating events and programming, staffing events planned by other components of the UTNG. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for assessments, providing appropriate services, and scheduling for themselves and others on the team. The incumbent is responsible for supervision of other social workers and social work interns.
This is a statewide position and may require occasional travel, weekends, and evening responsibilities.
 

Examples of Duties:
Determines program goals, objectives, and executes in coordination with other related programs.
Monitors and evaluates operations, programs, processes and practices for quality and effectiveness; makes recommendations for improvement.
Provides weekly, monthly, and yearly reports of the program’s activities.
Supervises other personnel including hiring, determining workload, and delegating assignments, training, monitoring, and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective disciplinary actions.
Carries a caseload in addition to other duties.
Assesses and directs customers to the most appropriate resource.
Coordinates projects and ensures adequate administrative controls, quality, and procedural efficiencies.
Facilitate large and small groups and teach parenting and other skills groups.

Requirements:Current Utah Licensed Clinical Social Worker certificate for clinical practice.
3-5 years of supervisory and management experience.
Experience working with Servicemembers, service-connected family, and military culture.
Valid Utah driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
