Job Description
The Department of Environmental Quality is current looking to fill their Office Specialist II position within the Division of Environmental Response and Remediation.

Principal Duties

Provide secretarial support for the Petroleum Storage Tank Branch of the DERR.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the PST Branch clerical support.
Process travels for the PST Branch.
Review all PST Branch correspondence.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal person for this position will possess:Good knowledge of grammar and spelling as applied in correspondence
Extensive experience in operating computer systems, computer word processing software; automated software applications; State or agency-specific software application program(s);and computer relational database software.
A dependable and responsible nature.
Possesses the ability to deal with individuals in professional, tactful, and sensitive manners.
Can communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely and read and understand presented information.
Excellent customer service skills in person, on the phone, and in writing.
Ability to multitask, prioritize and learn new skills quickly.
Ability to work well with others on a small team.
PreferencesSupervisory experience
Previous office experience
High school graduate
Ability to type 40 WPM
Previous office and or scanning experience
