Are you Registered Utah Pharmacist interested in making a difference with Utah Medicaid clients through outreach and education?

The ideal candidate hired for this position will have experience:

developing, implementing and maintaining peer-to-peer education;
analyzing and interpreting medical and pharmacy claims data to identify potential opportunities for improving the pharmacy program;
understanding the Medicaid Pharmacy program requirements;
administering managed care programs
Preference may be given to applicants that:PharmD is preferred but will consider BS in Pharmacy
Medicaid pharmacy program experience
Managed health care experience

Note: as of April 8, 2024, DHHS employees will be working a hybrid schedule, which includes 2 office days per week and 3 telework days.

Qualifications

Licensure to practice Pharmacy in the State of Utah.
Risks which require the use of special safety precautions and/or equipment, e.g., working around operating machines, working with contagious diseases or hazardous chemicals, etc.
Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
