Are you a self-starter interested in helping individuals with disabilities find a new home and community based services in the community? Join the Division of Services for People with Disabilities as the Program Administrator who will be responsible for overseeing a new Home and Community Based Services Limited Supports Medicaid Waiver for people with intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injuries, or physical disabilities.

Principal Duties
As the Program Administrator you will:Supervise caseworkers who will carry caseloads and implement the waiver.
Work closely with other Division of Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD) staff and Division of Integrated Healthcare Medicaid staff to craft Medicaid Waiver language.
Work with staff to develop contract and service description language.
Be responsible for adhering to the implementation timeline and facilitating meetings.
The Ideal CandidateHas experience supporting individuals with disabilities to lead self-determined lives.
Has experience leading projects that include multiple agencies from different departments.
Has experience developing and/or executing strategic plans.
Has experience leading projects directly related to community based services for people with disabilities.
Has experience in Person-Centered thinking and processes.
Preference may be given to applicants with experience in the “Ideal Candidate” list.
