Do you like to write grants, coordinate contracts, and assist with budgets? Do you enjoy working with diverse groups of external and internal partners? Do you like to work on quality assurance and improvement measures? If this is you, then the Office of Health Promotion and Prevention seeks you as a Healthy Aging Program (HAP) Coordinator. As a HAP Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of all HAP activities. This position is critical to maintain the HAP mission. You will be able to make a difference with our team from day one! The responsibilities and requirements for this position are listed below.

Principal Duties
As the Healthy Aging Program Coordinator. you will:

Supervise interns, volunteers, and/or CDC PHAPs.
Coordinate and implement project management and programmatic evaluation activities.
Manage contracts.
Assist with budgets.
Coordinate training activities.
Ensure HAP is up-to-date on licensing requirements.
Make sure that needed reports are are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
Work collaboratively with multiple diverse external and internal partners to achieve performance measures and other outcomes associated with results based accountability.
Develop an annual communication plan.
Develop and strengthen partnerships for the implementation of appropriate evidence-based interventions

In order to be successful in this position, YOU MUST:Have project management experience.
Understand and possess the needed skills to build websites using WordPress
Have experience writing grants and managing grant activities.
Have evaluation experience.
Have strong administrative and clerical skills.

Supplemental Information
Working Conditions:

The typical office setting for this job is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated. However, you may encounter some risks that are associated with any office setting, for example, the safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
Standard Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
A hybrid teleworking option is available.
Physical Requirements:Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
