This position provides support for the Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) and Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) teen pregnancy prevention grants, as well as coordination of the USU Interagency Training Outreach Initiative (IOTI) grant. The position monitors contracts, conducts outreach, provides training, and works with multiple partners.If offered this position, your continued employment will be contingent upon passing a background check and review. There will be no cost to you and fingerprinting will be completed on the first day of employment or shortly thereafter. PRINCIPLE DUTIESOversee grant implementation and sub-awardee performance, including: Provide training and technical assistance to program sub-awardees.Assist or lead in writing and compiling contracts, quarterly reports, performance measures, and grant applications. Monitor program activities through monthly check-in calls and annual site visits. Participate in program planning, partner recruitment, and training. Collaborate with Utah State Board of Education, Utah Foster Care, and other community partners to accomplish grant objectives. Provide training to school professionals and parents of adolescents. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Our ideal candidate will have: Work experience in adolescent health or sexual healthA Masters degree in public health, education, or another related field.Experience collaborating and building partnerships with various community partners and stakeholders.Experience designing and providing adult education/training, both in-person and virtual.Experience with grant writing and reporting, contract management, budget management, and/or program planning and evaluation.Training/certification in various evidence-based programs related to sexual health, positive youth development, or parent education.Spanish language proficiency. Actual rate per hour will be determined by evaluation of qualifications and skills of the individual and the availability of monies through budget and grants or by following DHRM rule.Occasional in state, out of state, overnight and weekend travel may be required.
