The Utah Department of Health is looking for a COVID-19 Rapid Testing Support to assist with the state’s COVID-19 Response. In order to be successful in this position, you must be dependable and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Principal Duties

Ship COVID-19 rapid tests and PCR collection kits across the state
Responsible for quality, accuracy, and completeness of records and file maintenance (electronic and paper)
Track testing supply inventory
Inventory fulfillment
Stock and organize warehouse and supplies.
Communicate via email with receivers of supplies

Must reside in Utah or be moving to Utah within 30 days of start date.
This position is funded through June 2022.

The Ideal CandidateMust have a high school diploma or higher.
Must have experience with inventory tracking or managing.
Must have experience with online shipping services.
Must have proficient skills with Excel and Google Docs.
Must have arm-hand steadiness, manual dexterity, multi-limb coordination and an ability to exert physical exertion such as frequent climbing, lifting heavy objects over 50 pounds, and crouching/working in restricted areas.

Preference
May be given to applicants with:
Certification in forklift and pallet jack operations

Supplemental Information
Working Conditions:

The typical office setting for this job is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated. However, you may encounter some risks that are associated with any office setting, for example, the safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
Standard Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Physical Requirements:This job requires physical exertion. You may be required to stand for long periods of time or to walk over rough surfaces. In addition, you may be required to bend, crouch, stoop, stretch, reach, or lift moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) in a recurring manner or for long periods of time.
