Full Job Description
Do you have a valid Utah drivers license? Can you use scanning and tracking tools to deliver items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules? Then the Division of Technology Services (DTS) has a great position for you! We need a reliable delivery driver to transport IT items in a safe, and timely manner.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will represent our agency in a professional and cost-effective manner, work to increase efficiencies, and improve our customer’s experience. Handle the daily operations such as telecommunications, motor pool, physical security, facility and grounds, mail processing, equipment relocation, warehouse storage, construction or reconguration projects, space utilization, and conduct program efficiency and equipment or facility utilization studies and recommend improvements, generate and monitor work orders, service contracts; utilize automated systems to generate reports and maintain administrative controls, etc.

Example of Duties
receive and inventory items
use scanning and tracking tools
adhering to assigned routes and time schedules
ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct agency
Employment contingent on passing a drug screening and a background check.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
