The Department of Environmental Quality is seeking an Administrative Assistant to work for the Division of Water Quality.
Principal DutiesProcess public notice and permit documents for Division Director signature
Prepares meeting agendas, information and meeting minutes for the Water Quality Board
Coordinates out-of-state travel requests and processes expense reports for Division staff
Provides support to the Division Director
Ideal CandidateHave a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience as a secretary or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Have the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, including ability to compose letters.
Have the ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with employees, representatives of other agencies, and the public.
Have considerable knowledge of office methods and techniques.
Have a working knowledge of office equipment and software, including spreadsheets, graphics, word processing, etc.
Be able to provide exceptional customer service, including assessing customer needs and meeting quality standards for services.
