Senior Assistant Caseworker-Office SupportThe Utah Division of Child & Family Services (DCFS) Brigham office is seeking a highly motivated individual with professional work experience in an office setting to fill their Senior Assistant Caseworker, Office Support position. Become part of a team of professionals working together to keep children safe and strengthen families in our communities!A Senior Assistant Caseworker, Office Support, is a clerical position and serves as a resource to the professional child welfare social work staff by providing direct client services including: taking notes and minutes and distributing minutes from Staff meetings and Team meetings; answering phones; greeting visitors and clients; completing Clear Search requests for caseworkers; helping to supervising visits; manage office budget and submit payments; and transporting youth.Principal Duties Greet and assist walk-in clients.Preparing letters and/or documentation for courts and/or clients.Receive incoming telephone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff member.Mailing certified mail to clients or sheriff; tracking in SAFE case system. Creating, maintaining, scanning, and/or archiving files, reports, etc.Retrieving files for workers, AGs, supervisors, and audits.Assisting with 24-hour notifications and priors.Maintaining the upkeep of office equipment.Taking and transcribing minutes at meetings.Assisting with completing Medicaid applications.Responsible for processing payments, managing financial transactions and handling other related financial tasks as assigned.Transportation of clients and children.
