Job Opening! – Friends4Life (F4L) is looking for a responsible, kind, service-oriented individual to join our growing company! This posting is for anyone interested in working in one or more of our residential settings in Sandy, Utah.
F4L is dedicated to providing exceptional assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our clients need reliable, friendly people who have a strong desire to assist them with their daily living needs. Our care team helps to ensure our clients live as independently as possible! We are hiring for both full and part-time positions. We will try to accommodate your personal schedule with our industry-leading flexibility. This is typically an entry-level position, although we are always looking for those who have experience in the industry as well. Starting pay is somewhat negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. All required training/certifications are paid for by F4L! Below is a short description of how our residential program works:
Residential (RHS): Our residential services offer the most flexibility. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide services for clients in a residential in-home setting. Shifts range from 6-12 hour shifts and go around the clock. You will work with our clients, assisting them in their daily living needs, helping them eat healthy balanced meals, helping them with daily hygiene, and assisting them with responsibilities like cleaning their rooms, cooking meals, cleaning laundry, and other housekeeping responsibilities. You will help our clients live more independently at home with occasional opportunities to take them out into the community for fun activities, to help transport clients to and from their work locations, or to help them do their weekly grocery shopping.

Various shifts between 9 am – 3 pm, 3 pm – 9 pm, and even our graveyard shift from 9 pm – 9 am. We are willing to work around (or even combine) these shifts and discuss alternative scheduling needs on a case-by-case basis.
JOB DETAILS:
Starting pay is $12-13 per hour
Flexible scheduling!
Morning, Afternoon, Mid-day, Evening, and Graveyard shifts available
Reimbursement is available for all onboarding requirements!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assisting clients to reach their desired goals
Engaging clients in fun and fulfilling activities at home and in the community
Aiding clients with daily needs, including but not limited to, nutrition, hygiene, exercise, communication, socialization, etc
Documenting clients medication
Documenting client progress
Transporting clients
Following all health and safety protocols required by Friends4Life and the state of Utah
Assisting our clients with keeping a tidy home in a clean and safe environment
Supporting and upholding client’s legal rights by observing the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
Becoming properly trained and certified as the job requires
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must be 16+ years of age at the time of hiring
Valid driver’s license or government-issued photo ID
Valid Social Security Card
Pass a criminal background check
Ability to move and stand for prolonged periods and occasionally perform physically demanding tasks
